Turn 8 (August, Year 1)

Articles
The local people of the plains are one third evil or one third good.
The others are human folks. Those we never know.

     – Al Garb (12)
Even more people coming to join this tiny crowded corner of the world. No wonder Malibu West (which suggests there must be a Malibu East even further east of me) feels boxed in!

     – Children of the Four Winds (19)
The Clan Elders rejoice in meeting another good faction.
Meanwhile, hopefully the wandering monsters we've noticed
won't cause too much damage.

     – ClanJaguar (8)
Although we seek allies, unfortunately our lands are crowded already. Those who land at our gate should try again, or seek communication. Otherwise, we may see the taint (taint, hehe) of evil even when it is not intended.

     – The Defenders (9)
Who had the idea to have goblins on charge of the music? I would aks for his head, if I could hear my toughts in this pandemonium.

     – Fanhunters (21)
We observe many factions around.. 1,2,3,4,5,6 ...7 Almost nobody is talking to us. That's bad. We will wait one more turn patiently. U were warned.

     – Hammerheads (14)
Is it possible to grow corn? We want sweet yellow corn that melts in a mouth. And we know, you want it too. Don't be upset! Our farmers are experimenting.

     – Joyful People (10)
Silence, we have seen other roaming the lands but so far no communications. If that good or bad?

     – Malibuwest (15)
"Sir, we have found a local hamlet and can recruit some of them as guards"
"Are they able to hold a weapon?"
"They are ogers, there is not much else they can do except hold a weapon and fight"
"Perfect, not much else we need at the moment"
"They are evil, sir"
...
"Maybe we find a few of them rejected by their community for not being totally evil?"

     – Nekojin Empire (28)
Good luck to that foolish assassin, who stole huge money - 5 silver pieces from our scout. Now you are a rich man is this land of poor and lonely swamps.

     – People of the Lie (20)
Exploration is always an interesting occupation. A good source of information on our environment except when the foreign scouts do not reveal themselves. It may be dangerous for them.

     – The Scoured Legion (18)
The blood is flowing right from the beginning. What a brutal world! Can we survive long enough?

     – Skulls (26)
"This is where we will build our permanent camp." Zodd pointed at the map with a wide grin.
"But it will be ages to get there. How far is it? Like 5 months of travel?" objected Lorelei.
"That's just a logistical issue we'll need to overcome." replied Zodd and they both looked at Edwin.
"What? You expect me to conjure up a couple magic carpets or a floating island? Can't do it. We'll need to get there a more conventional way. I guess we'll need to have a longboat built." Edwin replied.
"Two longboats. We need to get across this land bridge over here." said Lorelei examining the map then added: "But at least I won't go hungry while we travel. Those lands are inhabited by humans."
"It's a logistical nightmare. We'll be lucky to get there by February. If we decide to move there that is." said Edwin.
"It's better than staying here with the kraken lurking at our doorstep." suggested Zodd and stood up from the table.
"Where are you going?" asked Lorelei.
"To organise a lumbering crew. We have two options: We arm our goblins with crossbows and turn that kraken into a nice pincushion or we build a ships and sail away as soon as possible. Whichever plan we choose we'll need wood. Lots of wood." replied Zodd.

     – Wandering Monsters (16)
- Your majesty, our humble worker was attacked by a "friendly" faction that decided to take over our land.
- What are the results.
- We've got 15 silver as spoils.
- Not too much but still some profit.

     – Windmasters (13)
