Turn 22 (October, Year 2)

Articles
The city has been taken. Almost without casualties.
In the end it was a failure and the captain responsible for the attack plan will now be in front of the ranks as penalty.

     – Al Garb (12)
The Ambassador asked the Vain Scientist how things were going. The Vain Scientist explained that using the scientific measure of the bodycount, things looked all right. However, a pesky assassin had killed the horse transport taking horses into the mountains, leaving behind nothing but a bloody red cap.

     – Children of the Four Winds (19)
Clan Jaguar doesn't intend to lay down for the forces of "evil".
But I will admit the forces in Inaet are looking scary.
Fear will motivate a new level of growth to our armies, no slacking off!

     – ClanJaguar (8)
The Alliance of the North takes shape. Soon none will stand against us, with Lord Korel leading the charge in armor forged of admantium and an Elven magic sword.

     – The Defenders (9)
We finally got a message from the oracle, although we are not fully sure what it means. It was a simple word: "Monday". If there is any wisdom in it is lost on us.

     – Fanhunters (21)
We also want to find moles. They are strong enough to carry big oger with armour and maul.

     – Hammerheads (14)
Fortunately, this month went much better than previous one. Probably it is a time to train some soldiers to protect our borders, we don't want to look weak to our neighbors, rattling their weapons. We also should rattle by something. Can a plow look dangerous? We have to make them look scary.

     – Joyful People (10)
*What happend last week? I have a strange feeling. But no memories.
**Sir! Nothing special.
*hmm
**Sir!

     – Motsognir (11)
Orders can be given and taken back.
---
Nobody can guarantee, that new orders are better, than the previous ones.

     – People of the Lie (20)
Another messenger, bad news again. Thefts are increasing at the border. The Master must react.
He writes new orders, rolls up the paper and inserts it into the messenger's mouth.
With a snap of his finger the Master call for a guard. An ogre approaches and with a great swing of his Maul sends the message and the messenger across the lake to the border.

     – The Scoured Legion (18)
Why, o why? They came from the East and ate OUR elves. Sad days. Only berries left.

     – Skulls (26)
"Hurry up! It's about to start!" said Lorelei to Zodd her eyes fixed on the smooth surface of the divining pool.
"Here. I had Burrrn make some popcorn." replied Zodd handing over two bowls then he turned to Edwin: "Are you sure this thing will work?"
"Yes. The image might be fuzzy but we'll see the battle all right." replied Edwin.
"Here it goes. That's Rolf for sure." said Lorelei and they all watched as the tall viking came to focus. The human was leading a battalion of ogres and goblin crossbowmen as they charged at six dozen figures on horseback surrounding a goblin scout.
"Wait a minute. Where's the kraken? What are we watching?" asked Zodd.
"The anchor of the spell is on Rolf. He must have rushed to the aid of that scout." replied Edwin.
"Are those elves? You have keener eyes." asked Zodd from Lorelei.
"Yep. And they carry the Windmasters banner." replied the succubus.
"They are not very effective." noted Edwin as the carnage started.
"They don't have any weapons. They might be good riders but it's hard to trample ogres when the heads of your horses only reach as high as the waists of your opponents. Good. Rolf must have ordered the goblins to climb onto the back of the ogres. They can aim their crossbows pretty well from there and they are protected from the riders. We have a capable tactician." explained Zodd.
"Well, he has more than one talent." said Lorelei licking her lips.
"You bonded with him as well?" asked Edwin incredulously.
"We had a few nights together in the Ethaqi jungles after the merfolk battle. I make sure that all our tacticians are loyal and obedient. And satisfied." replied the succubus with a smirk.
"That went quick." said Edwin as the battle was already over.
"We had superior forces and a better tactician. The outcome was obvious." said Zodd.
"That's typical of Rolf. He never makes anything last longer than necessary." said Lorelei and rose: "I'll be in my chambers. Send for me when you see tentacles."

     – Wandering Monsters (16)
- Your majesty our forces has regrouped at the new land.
- Good. Give the order to the rearguard to attack. We will never forget them.

     – Windmasters (13)

Rumors
Everything thing elves can do is hide in the woods and shoot from behind the trees? In an open area an elf is completely incapable of resisting and run off without looking back?
bla bla bla we will come and devour you all, bla
I just do this for money. I know, but I need Silvery.
Contrary to what they say The Defenders (9) can't seem to stop blabbering about Nekojin Empire (28). They complain about assassins and dirty tactics. Can't they understand that all warfare is based on deception and such dirty tricks? Maybe that's the reason why a faction that started 7 turns later is kicking their ass?
"More corpses found this month. If only we were not so lazy with our training. Need to catch up."
Don't worry. You'll find more and more. :) Orc promises.
Forces are gathering in the underworld city of Radeng to seize it. Outsiders keep away!
Trails of smoke are starting to rise from civilized lands.
Mushrooms are good for brain - of course only for goblin and kobold's.
Blood was taken in the plains. It will not be the last time.
What can be better than red grain?
Assassin (XXXX) attempts to assassinate Stadthalter (2232) in forest (4,8) in Ashwaz!
Stadthalter (2232), Motsognir (11), behind, high elf [HELF].
Motsognir (11) is destroyed!
Spoils: none.
That alliance in the south will die. It is existing it's last months.
The Nekojin empire is an empty husk. What one would expect, as evil cannot thrive.
Fartmasters [13] are preparing to conquer the world. All, good and evil, must unite against this faction of traitors.
