We finally made it through the gate! Now to find some members of a race worth recruiting, and see how far we are from the others.

     – Children of the Four Winds (19)
Hmm, still not seeing what we want.
The Clan Elders are stubborn, and declare:
We shall wander for another turn.

Talking in good faith is a great way to start in a community, and pivot a crowded start towards a productive partnership.

     – Fanhunters (21)
Patience pays off.
Beign nice pays off.
Hammerheads will pay well and will be very 'good' neighbour.

     – Hammerheads (14)
The earth all around. And some of water. Mostly salty. At least because the fresh one is not marked on the map. And the fearsome leaders of the fearsome factions are not marked on the map either. And they are, probably, also all around. What should poor travelers do?

     – Joyful People (10)
Good or Evil that is the question, looks like there is no choice. Not an evil man in sight.

     – Malibuwest (15)
**Sir, we found your wife. She is healthy but moody.
*...
**Sir, why are you running? Your wife is in the other direction. Sir?!1

     – Motsognir (11)
At least we have good weather and plains. This is not bad at all, if we remember last Miskatonic world, where we were sitting of forests island without any means of movement.

     – People of the Lie (20)
Finally a friendly tribe. We will recruit some of their warriors, let the adventure begin.

     – The Scoured Legion (18)
"Whatcha reading?" Lorelei asked Edwin.
"One of our scouts sent a report with that big bird over there." Edwin replied with a frown and pointed at a vulture-like bird perching at a big tree.
"I thought that none of the ogres we recruited could read or write even if their lives depended on it."
"Of course they can't. But they can draw. I'm trying to figure out what kind of creatures live in the settlement he found to the southwest. Wanna help?"
"Sure. Let me see... Not a minotaur. They are subterraneus. Orc maybe? Hey Bash, can you come here and take a look at this drawing?" She asked one of the ogres at the next campfire.
The big ogre looked confused then approached them. "Boss lady want me? I'm Smash. Bash go get wood for fire." he said.
"Whatever. Can you tell us what creature did our scout draw on this piece of boar skin?" Lorelei asked.
"That be Dash. Good scout. Run fast. Draw nice." The ogre said after examining the drawing.
"Yeah, yeah. Nice drawing. What kind of creature is it?" asked Edwin impatiently.
"Hobgoblin. Many many. Live in hut many day dat way. No. Dat way." Smash replied pointing to the south then corrected himself and pointed westwards.
"You knew there was a hobgoblin settlement within a month's distance and you never mentioned it during the whole month we've been here?" Edwin asked raising his voice.
"We forget. Sorry. Please no punish no fire." The ogre said in alarm then seeing that Edwin did not intend to hurl a fireball at him like during their first encounter a month earlier he continued: "Tasty hobgoblin but fight good. They wield nasties."
"Nasties?" Lorelei asked.
"Long like us bone knife but shiny. Cut deep." the ogre explained and felt at an old scar on his left thigh.
"Swords. Right. How big is that settlement? How many guards did Dash report?" asked Edwin.
Smash looked at the drawing again and pointed at what looked like a tuft of grass on the picture. "That many. Dash smart scout. See how many. Draw how many." He said with a smile.
"Thanks a lot Smash. You can go now." said Edwin with a sigh then turned to Lorelei. "Writing and reading is not an issue but counting is. Either we get smarter scouts or I'll need to use farsight on that settlement myself."

     – Wandering Monsters (16)
- Your majesty looks like this land is very undeveloped. We could not find any civilized city, town or - even village.
- Keep searching.

     – Windmasters (13)

Rumors

Children of the Four Winds [19], Fanhunters [21] and Windmasters [13] are full of hot air but no substance.
People of the Lie [20] never utter a true word.
Klingons [9] and Wandering Monsters [16] are uncivilized barbaric beasts.
Tundra Dwellers [10] are cold-hearted bastards.
Sky Raiders [24] are evil dragon riders that pillage and burn.
Night Lurkers [22] are an assassin's guild.
Meron Demonic Empire [17] are moronic demons. Or demonic morons? I forgot.

There is not a single decent faction we could trust?
What is Clearing ? Mass Clearing or selective clearing ? Investigation started.
Good guys in this world will die fast and without glory
Are the Wandering Monsters all talk and no walk? Do they speak loudly but pack a small stick? Enquiring Atlanteans want to know. Check back here as spies start to make use of Gate 8 to get the real story.
There are wolves hidden in many place, what are they hunting?
Daleks are taking out this world. Spreading around. Slow but inevitably.
This world is too small for so many tribes, even worse, if some declare themselves evil so early.
The first blood is going to be shed soon. For the first precious trophy.
